Posted - 01/30/2014 : 19:56:22 Well since my B10 early model is turning 50 this year, I figure it's time for a mild restoration. I have new seat cushions and armrests, a total of 8 NOS hubcaps, and some nice chrome grille uprights. It needs new rings and a valve job because it smokes like a teenager in the 1960's. I used Bahaus Gold for my '67 "Bee 10" but I think it's a tad darker than the '64 was originally . Does anyone have any suggestions on a proper color?
Also lets see some of those other Early B10's out there. Post lots of pictures of your 50 year old tractors!
Thanks!

Wes I love your pics. Your B10 without the loader is a lighter color. Do you remember what the color was you used?
Chris, i did i custom match using one of the plates that connects the BGB to the Trans. Close match to original i believe, but not perfect. If it had more of a cream to it, it would be darn close. Hope you will keep us updated with pics of your restoration!
P.S. I can send you the paint code if you want. |
