Made a deal before the GOTO and picked these up at the show. Nice shape and the first sulky roller I have seen in person...Dave

Oh I so desperately want one of the Simplicity sulky/hauling carts! You have a very nice example with the complete hitch. I do have the roller you show here (Montgomery Ward brand I believe) and have really enjoyed riding it around at one of the local shows. Enjoy!

Greg; there is an adapter that goes on the sleeve hitch of the tractor and then the cart pins to it. The roller is not a simplicity item and the end of the tongue is different. I will modify it so it is the same as the cart tongue. I will post a pic of the adapter some time in the next few days.....Dave

Dave (or anyone else)- I have several of the Simplicity walk behinds and I have always wondered on the cart and roller attachments how the torque of the tongue is affected. I am assuming that the length of the tongue on the cart absorbes most of the torque. On the roller, it looks like the bottom of the hitch is bigger so that it can move from side to side more.

...and I'm guessing added weight.

Jimmy; they are for my two wheeled walk behind garden tractors. Pretty hard to operate tractor while walking if the trailer or roller is atached.LOL...Dave

You certainly don't want to walk between the two wheeled tractor and a roller or trailer for that matter.

Jimmy,, it was for that pesky neighbor kid that always followed you around while you were trying to get your yard work done,,,,,I know from first hand experience. And after a couple rides, you were tricked into actually doing some work.

Very cool. I wonder what really is the point of riding on the roller or trailer though?

It's amazing to find such old, and well cared for attachments. Especially ones that scarce. Nicely done!
