It sure would have been neat to have brought home a 2012 last year, but oh well. I'm usually a bit behind. I sure was in getting a nice AC 912 hydro, too busy to get over to nab it in time so I sorta soothed the bruise by buying this Simplicity.

Too bad the hood got hacked to allow filling the plastic tank that replaced the original.

Seems to be a decent machine, bgb has some slop but not too bad, steering is nice though and it has all four hood bolts! The aftermarket seat is pretty comfortable too. I really don't understand why someone had to bomb most of it with cheap paint, the original paint that it's flaking off of looks better. It needs a bit of carb cleaning but does run and even charges, has been converted to a Kohler type coil ignition, that means another battery.

Does anyone recognize the rear wheels, they are definitely not original. Can't place them myself.

I know I've seen the scooped breather somewhere before, but it escapes me now. Usually the shiny breathers were on I/C engines, walking up to it I thought newer repower but it is a '67 vintage 12hp engine. Getting harder to find them.

Yes they are, I can't recall seeing any similar. I'll have to dismount the tires and see if they are labeled inside.

I originally bought this thinking of parts for my B-12, but it's just too good for that. Hopefully I can find time soon to swap tires and change fluids.

OMG!! thats part of the very rare fisherman kit....
the fish pole goes there you jerk up
on the armstrong lever to set the hook
It seems you are missing the PTO adapter which connects
to the reel and reels in your fish really quick!!

LOL!!! That's for the big ones. I guess I need to take up fishing again then.

I'm not sure. I thought at first part of a tiller but it's hollow. I haven't tried to remove it yet but haven't ran my leg into it! That's shocking.
