Made my yearly pilgrimidge to the Wisconsin Auto Museum in Hartford Wisconsin. Thought you might like to see some of the equipment that they have there.

I took quite a few pictures of the Kissels. They also have a WI racing Hall of Fame for dirt track cars, a fully restored steam locomotive, they had it apart last year, a small plane and a 190something wooden boat with an inboard motor. Not to mention a 25 x 50 model train layout with about 6 trains running and even a machine for cutting records. So its a pretty neat place. I recommend it to anyone who ends up in the area, about 30 minutes northwest of Milwaukee. |

Are those Lawnboy iron horses. The engines look just like the Iron Horse 18 " mower we got back in the late 1950's. |

Well that brought back some memories! Stopped in Hartford on our honeymoon and looked over the Kissels and all the other fine items at that museum. It is a very nice town overall, one place I would definitely like to visit again. We were there in 2002. I don't remember the GE being there then, not that that means anything. I do recall the Bolens, the push mowers and the little Mopar ski (Sno Runner was a product of Chrysler Marine). Thanks for the pics! |
