Just curious,, how many of the original early B canvas cabs survived ? I'm in the process of re-doing mine ( what a pain ). After 48 years , it finally just fell apart. I'm trying to stay as original as possible,, maybe with the exception of adding a door on the left side. I'll post pics as it re-covers.

Richard,, I'm just under 6',,very comfortable,, and it actually gets toasty if there isn't much wind outside,, after about 5-10 minutes,, I'm unzipping my jacket.

That's really nice. It looks like a tall person would not want to spend a lot of time in it though. Does the black baffle in front bring much engine heat back to you?

that look like a lot of fun, the cab looks great, i have never seen a canvas cab over a tractor before! (i've never seen so much snow either)

Yes that turned out great. Looks very professional.

Thanks for the compliments,,just a word of advise for anyone wanting to try this,,,(Josh,,lol ), Do Not use the old canvas for patterns,, they are stretched and shrunk in ways that will drive you crazy. Just study them as to how they were made, and "freehand" it,,panel at a time. I'll get some better pics up for improvements,, such as moving the chute handle inside,,(it was originaly outside the cab) and some things I would have done different.

You have done a great job of replicating your cab cover Denny. Your wife will probably want you to make your own jeans now!!! Dave

Does ANYBODY have an original assembly manual (or parts) for these cabs ???,, The seat surround panel has me scratching my head,, as to what it fastens to along the sides,,, and does it go under the seat or over it. I had a good peice for a pattern,,, but it appears to have been never fastened,, it has 2 grommets at the foreward tips ?????

The black panel is as original,,, they claimed it prevented glare. Most got torn,,, and found their way to the muffler. I've probably got about $150 in material, and hardware ,,haven't bought the white paint yet for the framing.
I'll continue to take more pics as it procedes,,, got the top and back panel all done except for snaps,,, soon as I get it final fit,, more pics. It's been tough to find time to work on it,,shop is backed up for 12 weeks,,, and trying to get some deer hunting in too.
