I watch and attend a local auction each week, and a lot of real rough stuff comes through. 90% of it doesn't run. This past week a nice lookin 700 came up, so I went up and put it through it's paces the day before the auction. Someone did a real fine job restoring it, with a couple custom touches. Everything on it was nice and tight, and the original model 19 fired up on half a crank and ran like a top without a hint of smoke.

It has what looks like the original 6-12 Goodyear AG's, and the paint is nice enough to wax. It's painted up nicer than anything I've done...I ended up bringing her home. (It even came with a full tank of gas and fresh oil)

This is my first bolt-together deck, and it's in beautiful shape. I mowed my folks place, and mine, totalling around 3 acres, with gas to spare. The clutch needed adjustment, but now she's poppin wheelies and pulling hills like a 10 horse

I'm thinkin it should make a nice show cruiser with the Carryall on back. For now, it's on lawn duty. Somethin I just love about cruisin the lawn on a 52 year old tractor

A new cave to drag the trappings from the hunts to? I wish you and the missus all the best in the venture! Moving can be most troublesome but you are wise to do it now before youngins. Hope you find the place that makes the both of you happy!

A barn is part of the plan (if it don't have one, it will soon). The hope is that this will be a place we can enjoy for a long, long time...pop out a few 'lil garden laborers, and watch them grow. =]

That's a damn beauty Josh! Glad to hear all is going well with you and the Mrs. (aka Mama). Clint wait to see pics of the new homestead! Will you have a designated barn for your toys?

Haha...the boss is kept up on the comings and goings around here. I gave about 4 bills for this one, after going over it real well and feeling pretty comfortable that could be recouped if it ever had to go. There is some seriously nice work into it.

I actually sold off all the sleds, trailers, and we received an offer on the house yesterday. Things are moving fast around here! I should have another goodie to share, as soon as I can get some pics for y'all. Been busy...my folks are moving, and we have been getting ready to do so as well.

Does the "boss" know what he paid? That's a good question too.

That is super nice Josh, nice score! I hope someone isn't getting voted out of the garage to give up space?

I hope to avoid using a walker for as long as possible. Is that two 700's?
Talntedmrgreen Posted - 08/07/2012 : 10:18:49
Well, we're 'down' to 10 and a Walker.
