Priceless!!! Made a trip to Rockdale Illinois yesterday for a tractor gathering trip. I didn't have a B110 yet and Mike at that end wanted my unneeded 900 series tiller so a swap was arranged. Home to home was 16 hours and 840 miles. Used wife's car and friends lightweight trailer to keep cost reasonable. $130 total in gas and about $20 in bridge and highway tolls. Very nice to meet another Allis tractor guy and had a very good day overall. Now; still looking for B12, B208, B210 and B212 so I will have one of each model in the B series. I will never have one of each of the variants but will be content to have one of each model. Dave |

Posted - 06/26/2012 : 22:15:13 Phil; it is a key start tractor, no starter button. I believe that is the later one just before the 200 series. Chris, I plan to be in Alexander again this year so will make arrangements to meet again for a visit. Not sure yet which tractor will be coming with me. Dave |

Posted - 06/26/2012 : 07:02:32 Dave, that looks like an early b110. Am I right? Straight 3 speed transmission, and 44 inch wheelbase? Boy, I really prefer the B110 to the B112. Very clean looking tractor. |

Posted - 06/26/2012 : 05:31:28 You did great on the deal Dave! I've always loved the cowl-hood B's. That one looks real nice, too!
The gas milage was even better! 23 mpg has got to be a tractor-towing record I've been tempted to take momma's suv for towing them home, but I really have a hard time driving under 80 when the trip has any amount of length to it, and the truck is so comfy. |
