Almost feel guilty sometimes of how much I demand of this almost original BIG TEN.... NOT!

Even though it stays outside and the temperature was zero this morning. Always starts right up.

Really, all my old Briggs start up fine down well below zero. Good battery's. I have Exide 51R's in almost all my large frames.

They are rare here, Thats the only one of two I have seen here. This was a very young one and spent several hours charging up an down the town road. Had everyon around out checking him out.

I see several black bear a year, and a neighbor up the road has taken at least six in the twenty years I have been here.

"Larry; I thought you were making a trail back to the BIG maples so you could tap them in a month or so. Dave"

Thats right, I am. Already have any and all sap sold.

"Larry, how much land do you have to play on? Joe Fess"

Sometimes not enough, sometime too much. The road around the perimeter is about 3/4 mile, and there is over 1500' of stonewall, of which I have cleaned up about 300' I thought maybe this moose was going to help with this section, but I was wrong.

They are fun for sure. A stinger is really nice with one, also a second tractor with a winch can be handy....

Well if you look at yesterdays pictures, then at this picture from November 28, 2010 when I brought it home, it looks like I'm doing an OK job taking care of the old girl:

Larry, how much land do you have to play on? I would love to have more even if it only got used to ride the grand children around.

I wish I had your battery account Larry. I wouldn't have to work again. Wait, I don't work.

Yeah it was fun, I'd rather do that then snowmobiling. That blade has been opening up my woods road little by little. Together wth the weedcutter I expect to be able to mow it in another year or so

Actually, I realized the TEN has the same battery in it as when I got it. Its an Interstate 22N I think, same form factor as a 51R though. Even though it wasn't running when I brought it home in 11-10, I dont think I have ever had it on the charger. Interstate isn't my favorite but that one has been a good one.

Nice work Larry. My 7016 started fine this morning at about 7 degrees. Let it warm up for a few then plowed the drive. I have 51R's in mine too.
