Where one is going to turn up. I was on a run to the hardware store to pickup some hinges for a customer and I spyed this in the bay of an auto repair shop. This is up in the heart of the city only blocks from where I found my B112. The owner of the shop said it belonged to a friend that is looking to sell. I asked him how much he wanted and he said he did not know because the owner refused to put a price on it. It is a 1956, pretty unmolested tractor. It still has a 6 volt system and even has the radiator shutters.

Yeah I see that all the time on CL . I even saw one once on an Old Schwinn tandem bike. The "seller" wrote, " make me an offer. we know what these are worth so don't try to lowball me". How presumptuous.

I just about refuse to do business with someone who won't give me some idea of what their asking price is. I just hate selling something to myself. If they don't know what they want for it they don't want to sell very bad.

It's so nuts saying one wants to sell something, then refusing to price it! So possibly the owner's WIFE wants him to sell it????

I didnt know they made a B in 56.

I think that would make on hell of a belated 60th birthday gift to yourself, eh Phil?

Phil.
You know Christmas is not that far away, and I'm sure you're wife would just love something like that little "B". Then you could be the "good husband" and look after it for her. I would just go get it and put a BIG ribbon on it with her name on the tag and say "look what Santa brought you". The expression on her face would be priceless.
You can always sleep in the motorhome.

Respectfully Doug.
Allis the girl for me.

I don't think it would take you much to fix the door. Before you bring it home see if they can match the new tire on the other side in the rear.
I really like those B's. I can't figure out why I haven't owned one yet. Let's hope it is in your price range.
