Posted - 10/16/2011 : 11:52:27 Hi Guys, I'm pretty sure this is a Tow-bee trailer, I know it is made by the Snow company, but it has had so many mods(hacks) done to it over the years it is hard to be sure.. I wish i could say this trailer is in good shape but i can't, it needs a ton of work.. I can't complain because i got it for a little over scrap price.. At some point the main axle and hubs were upgraded from the 8" to 14" wheels. I will be changing that back to the 8" wheels, this will lower the trailer for less tilt angle. I would also like to fab a front splash gaurd to replace the one that was removed.. If anybody has any pictures or blueprints of the tilt spring system i could sure use them. This will be my "winter" project......

Posted - 10/16/2011 : 21:56:22 Thanks for the commets guys.. Michael this trailer measures 54" wide x 129" long. I too like Freddie thought a towbee was a 5' x 8' sized trailer.. Josh thanks for posting the parts lay-out that is a big help, Sammiefish i bought that 310 variable last year for a parts tractor but i just couldn't bring myself to part it so i got it running and mowing again...

Posted - 10/16/2011 : 14:01:43 Cool! I'd have said it could be a toss up, since they made trailers for many brands, but that Allis tag purdy much settles it! Nice find! |
