Today I went to day one of an antique tractor consignment auction 15 miles south of me, convenient no!? Today was signs, toys, literature, and misc. Tomorrow is farm tractors and parts. There were several walk-behinds sold of various brands, a few Simplicity built. But laying in one row next to several Brinley attachments was the ONLY Simplicity rider attachment there. After getting far outbid on the Case Eagle Hitch 2-14 plow I wanted badley for parts, I said that thing is going home with me!

Not exactly complete or pretty, but it was the only original attachment there for my favorite toys. And thus, I bid vigourously! Uh, one bid, of $5! Made me happy, I tell you what. Anybody that could tell me dimensions of the two lower draft arms and the top lift pin I would appreciate it.

Thanks guys! I was sure suprised when I got it, typical auction, several stupid prices, then an occasional bargain.

Josh, those pics and measurements are just the ticket! Thank you so much, wish mine was a clean as yours.

Day two yesterday was rain from the beginning, lasted most of the day. Didn't slow people too much on bidding. Watched the ugliest, most neglected Case 150 rider I'd ever seen bring $150! That poor sap needed everything, tires were flat and rotten, front tierod severely bent, everything that should have moved didn't. I took home only one purchase, it's not a Simp or AC unfortunately, but it was CHEAP! Look for that one to appear in the other tractors section.

The hitch is 1 foot long...the hitch pin and mounting bolts are each centered 5/8" in from the ends.

9 1/2" center to center for the lift rod.

I looked at a complete one yesterday, and you're missing these end peices, with the gauge pads. They also include a pair of spring teeth. For use with a manual lift, I think they'd be needed.

I checked out a complete one today, and you're not missing much. I'll measure my hitch in the morning and touch base with ya...

Excellent! Wish I could help with the dimensions, that would mean I had one.

Very nice score! That price is right!!

Awesome! I can get those measures for you today or tomorrow, unless someone beats me to it. I have never seen a spring tooth locally. A month back there was parts for it on ebay. I would search completed auctions and see if they sold.
