I found this 2010 close to home and real cheap a while back. The seller said it had been sitting in the barn for decades untouched. He also said the people he bought the estate from bought it new, because the neighbors had bought one, but had always used a lawn and garden service, he also claimed the mower deck had the original blades on it. The tractor is 100% complete including the plastic cover on the front shaft, and everything from the steering to the BGB and shifter are nice and tight, and after spending 3 hours going through and cleaning the deck I think he may have been right. What do you think??

It has no numbers surviving, however, I looked up decks made in 66-67:

http://www.simpletractors.com/made_when/1964-1967.htm (free site)

and the 990407 matches right down to the fixed idler.

Edit: It isn't actually a fixed idler, you loosen a bolt to adjust it.

Wow! Can't believe the condition of those rollers! The ends are square and sharp! Definitely just "shelf wear"! You are definitely causing jealousy again. Nice foot dragger!
