i have started disassemblings the hi/lo gear and pulley. but i dont see any of the bushings that i here about unless there on the small gears. and if they are they seem to be in good shape, no slop. first i remove the coller and it comes apart.

every thing looks good to me so i will clean it and pack it full of new grease and put it back together

That part you show with the bolts in it is the outer.... mine has the handle welded to it. Could you post more pictures showing what you have?
freddie Posted - 01/24/2011 : 21:03:17
no larry i have that, i need the outer shift bracket.

larry8200 Posted - 01/24/2011 : 20:58:54

When I rebuilt mine this past summer (sorry no pics didn't have a camera with me :( )mine had bolts holding the small planet gears between the two plates. One of which was broken and had to be fabricated. looks like yours is rivited. interesting.

I've always been curious about the hi/lo, how it goes together and such. I hope to get my hands on one someday. Looking forward to seeing more of your rebuild/ fab work.
