 Repaired a broken link on a cross chain, straightened out side chains for one set of chains, installed blade, weights and chains on one BigTen. Should be ready to push snow. Next project will be to mount blower on other BigTen.
 Went out to shop today and got the other BigTen ready for snow. Only thing left to do is fab some belt stops for the blower belt. Dave

I still have to heat it to protect liquids stored but I use a heater that only comes on if temps plunge to freezing. |

Chris. I have a very understanding wife. Also she spends her money on dance shoes, a motorhome and a small travel trailer so she doesn't complain about my tractors, trucks and motorcycles. Phil, best part of clearing out your shed is you live where you don't have to heat it to work there. I fired up the gas radiant heat last Saturday because it was down to 45 degrees in the shop. Turned it off when I finished for the day because this week is in the 55 to 65 degree range all week. ( Indian Summer is here. ) Probabley will need heat on next week and on through to April. Dave. |

Dave that is an awesome fleet. Unfortunately I'd probably be divorced if I had even half of your fleet. |

Dave that is nice welding. Right now I can't even get into the door of my shed/shop. I am setting my sights on clearing it out and getting rid of partial sheets of gypsum board and other things of little value that are jamming up my little space. |

Chris; Fleet consists of B1, two early B10; two BigTen; late B10; 2012 hydro lift; two B112; 3314; 710 3spd; late 712 Hydro; 919 hydro; 620 and a D14 with loader. Also several parts tractors. Dave. |

Nice job on the weld! I see an awful lot of white seats in the back ground in that one pic from the front! Just curious about your fleet, thats all

Daniel. It's oxy/acet. Small tanks are yellow. Here we don't rent the small size tanks. You buy them once then exchange them just like rented tanks. I will be moving up one size when these are empty. Tanks here in Ontario can't be owned after you get to a certain size but I can legally go one size bigger than I have. Freddie; I learned to gas weld in high school more than 40 years ago. Also to stick arc weld with ac current and dc and dc reverse. Have the torches and an ac welder so that is what I use most. Also have a small flux core wire welder that only gets used on thin sheet metal. Dave |

only because there ten years older. wait ten years. its like a guy i used to work with. he was 3 days younger then me, and when i would come into work on monday hurting from the weekend. he would give me the razz. and i tolded him wait three days, your times coming. l.o.l. |

I'm the same way, about the time I think of the camera, the projects done. I will say, to some degree that us guys with RBT's face less repair/restoration issues in general than you FDT guys do. |

ITS ABOUT TIME DAVE!!!! good job on the gas welding. i have been a tig welder for 36 years. mostly sst and alum. its a little like gas welding. one of these days i will get a vid for you. i just get started on a project and forget to do that. i like to get things done. and done now. |

Welds look good, I'm better at torch than MIG, just because I can see better. I like to see a guys shop that actually looks like he works in it, rather than some that look like, nothing ever moves and stuff is dusted, GASP. No kidding I have a friend that dusts his shop every tool in it's place, plastic bags and tarps over and clamp or bungeed down to cover everything. He also uses surgical gloves, ewwww, when he works int he shop, which is never, he mainly admires the stuff that's in it, 2 craftsman mowers |

Is that oxy/acet, or oxy/propane? I've never used a torch to weld. They say when you learn that, it's a breeze to TIG. I can TIG, but isn't the best by FAR, but it holds. |
