i agree, untill you tear one all the way down. you will understand what all goes into redoing one. takes me about three good solid weeks to do one. sand blasting every thing
in all respect i would realy want to do it myself.

That guy typically has lots of stuff on craigslist...he shows up on my local listings. I'm guessing he's the same guy, due to the Argos, IN location. I love those rigs...think they're my favorite style. I have it on my list of things for 2011...I want to find a cheap-o, and tear it down to make it purdy. Keep it strictly for a grass cuttin machine. There's just something about doing the work yourself...

Well, he is selling outright without bidding... asking $500 or best offer....no bidding involved.

I think it's worth the asking price, I just think if your going to get a lively auction going you have to start at 250-275 and let it bid up, put a reserve if you want, but it is an auction. I'm glad you guys go after those FDT's tractors, leaves more of the RBT's for me. BTW the tiller shipped from Illinois today, due here Monday, along with TWO sets of narrow wheels, yep I got another set of narrow simplicity wheels, these with nearly new diamond stud tires. It's only money, now I'm trying to figure out how to sneak in another 600-1000 dollar tractor into the collection without much notice, he he. I'm looking at some early eighties BIG twin cylinders with power steering
