I like my Deestones just fine. I did not really have any traction problems that I was aware of since I had loaded my old turf tires. My old turfs had so many plugs that they looked like porcupines and were spring leaks on a daily basis, so I bought the lugs to replace them. Much to my surprise the lugs turned out to be easier on the turf than my old turf tires that tended to break loose the inside tire on very sharp turns. I can still break the lugs loose if I am high-balling it but nothing like when using the old turfs (This may not hold true on northern grasses, my grass is rooted quite deeply) . Of course on bare ground they do leave their very distinctive marks. Traction in the garden is more than adequate.

$112.53 to my door (your zip code shipping may be higher) for a pair from this seller. I've bought from him before & fast service.

Here's the exact Deestone 8.50's on my Bush Hog D4-10 chassis.

they will look different when you get the air in but they are truly lower profile.
