My Neighbor used to run unlimiteds I think he called it. I have installed an 8hp (5hp at the rpms I'm running) Lister-Petters diesel in a Wheel Horse. He came over one day when he heard about it. He was dumbfounded by it. I told him it would dig itself in to a hole so we put it up against a telephone pole in High range, second gear just above idle. We couldn't kill it. I now have large ATV tires on it and a weight rack on the front so I can steer it when pulling my disc. going to try and attach a photo but Photo bucket has changed things again and I get frustrated having to keep figuring it out. I think there used to be instructions here but I can't find them either. I think I will go back to paper and stamps.

iowa is a days drive lol i know of a culb out there that run the 4 corners up there north western iowa i will see if i can find them again chris. lol there is a club that al eden invites down from wis, and they relly put on a show the pullers in that club however take there pulling a little to serios but fun never the less. very very nice sled "powered" also they run all there tractors with out starter gen's or bat's, they have jump carts that look like it would take off fingers arms with that 5ft belt. I just love going tractor pulling. cheeper the hooks the better. and when they let you jump up a class do to a lack of entres, and you mess with the points for that class is the best. funny i have just about the only truly stock tractor there. I paid 450 for that tractor 230 for the tires, plus 35 for the front, scrap steel "free" so yea i can still run implments in a mater of min's if wanted to mostly I use the snow blade on the '74 7010.

I've never even attended a pull but I enjoy reading about your tractors. Out here in the middle of Nowhere SD. I'm not sure if there would even be a garden tractor pull within a days drive. So I'll just set back and keep reading.
Thanks,
Chris

we run the landlords & b-10 tractor. 630lbs is what they are at i took the bat and starter gen off one to get more lbs over the rear wheels, that runs a 7hp briggs. took 2nd last year from a 12hp in the 850lbs class. not bad ya think.

wow thats to light, my tractor needs a big diet she weighs 781 lbs with bat. and 1 gal of gas. our weights are 1050, 1150, 1250, and if i can find a couple of others 1350 lbs now thats when my tractor likes it.

we only pull on dirt. dont like the asfalt.i see you like the bared tires. we run the turf tires and cut them. they seem to grab better IMO we always place 1st 2nd or 3rd. we run 750-850-950-1050 classes. i will try to get some video up
