Sometimes you get lucky! Went to an auction and theere was 2 auctioneers..I was with one of them and the Mrs. was at the other...Asked herto bid on a snowmobile and she won it! No key but was tinkering today and She RUNS! 1979 Kawasaki 440 Drifter.. Price 30.00... Broke the fuel line for the Fueltank but thinking I can fix that..Steel pipe and 2 part plastic weld.. |

Nice score and a nice sled in its day!!! Pics of it would be interesting. I have older Yamaha's and Ski Doo's, never had a Kaw but they were really quick in their day.
I went to a farm auction today and left after viewing the items. There was several items I was interested in, but the crowd was huge! For the first time in a long time all of the farmers here have all their crops out and pockets full. Could see that it would be a morning wasted and the time was more valuable to me today. Will talk to the auctioneer on Monday and see what the items I was interested in went for. |
