Here is why I haven't gotten a lot of wrenching done to my new additions lately. Been working on making the garage a little less cluttered.
Built that one last week and filled it up in a jiffy!
Built this one this weekend. I had to move a lot of "stuff" before construction could begin!
If you're wondering why I built them so high?
I need to put all available space to use with my compulsions! I have not had most of these toys running in years because I couldn't get them out. Now they are more accesible. The post are recycled green pressure treat, the rest of the material is 2x6 elm I had sawed a few years ago that I harvested from my hillside. The handy thing is the scraps from trimming the elm will make nice woodstove fodder in the coming months. |

Here is a pic of the tillers before I put them up there. It is indeed a Lawn-Boy, good eye sir!
I also have this style of Lawn-boy. Never had either running, yet!
I added it and a Choremaster last night to the mix. As far as getting them up there, Tennessee Ernie Ford said it best, "a mind that's weak and a back that's strong". Often times, that's me in a nutshell. |
