Now, I bet you all are saying, what does this have to do with tractors. Well, it doesn't directly, though I am using this so I can watch movies or anything I want in my garage.

There is a website called www.Orb.com which offers a "site shifting" solution to your watching your TV. Now, unfortunately it leaves open abuse, but if you want to be able to watch your TV anywhere you can get an internet connection, listen on. If you install this software on a PC which has a video tuner (newer PCs), you can watch your TV on another PC anywhere. Almost exactly like Sling Box, but it requires you to have a newer PC with the TV Tuner board in your PC at home.

So far this has worked excellent for me. For anyone with a similar need to watch there TV in other locations (like the "Man Space" or Garage), then this is a solution!

Well I watched a moving on Instant Netflix last night on my PC and I'd have to say, YES ("computer without a brain") and agree with predictions that the computer is merging with the TV. The cool thing is my AKAI TV has a VGA input (i.e. computer output), so I just plug my PC into it and watch Instant Netflix movies in the living room. Netflix needs to increase the movie availablity on line, I'd say they don't because of licensing of the movies and cost. Blockbuster is quickly on their heels with a similar instant offering.
