I wanted to share yesterday's acquisition, a 1965 Colt Super 10. The Colt was the predecessor to Case garden tractors, and the 65 was actually built alongside the first Case branded tractors, as Case had purchase Colt Manufacturing in the end of the previous year.

I really enjoy the chase, and have nearly exhausted finding Allis/Simplicity machines that peek my interest. I have been blessed with those giving me lots of learning, fun and sharing opportunities, but have recently become very interested in finding some oddities of other brands to add to my fleet.

My wish list for other brands isn't a long one, but it's proven to make for some fun challenges. This seems to be the year when the work of hunting them comes to a head! I recently found the Amigo, and now found myself a Colt!

The seller's ad was drool-worthy!

This was over in Burton Mike. I had missed it a couple years back and this guy restored it. He has a nice blend of machines...top notch work. I actually bought some Allis attachments from him a year or two back.
