Posted - 12/18/2011 : 20:41:49 Curious what a 'good' deal is on an old Massey. I see them more often than Allis' around here...not quite as often as a Simplicity. If I were to see a good looking and running Simp with deck, dozer and hydrolift for $380, it would be in my garage.
Thoughts on this MF14? http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/grd/2759896429.html

Posted - 12/20/2011 : 16:02:02 Yeah, I couldn't move fast enough. Of all things, I've been too busy selling. Of course now I have cash in hand, and nothin to turn around and drop it on =] The tractor fund is cyclical, and right now, it's pretty flush. |

Is that Oh boy like in "I'm going to buy it"? or Oh boy like in "How do I explain this to the wife"? |

Posted - 12/18/2011 : 21:26:55 It would be in my garage right next to the Simplicity. You should be able to double your money without much effort. |

Posted - 12/18/2011 : 21:25:12 Looks like solid iron to me. I grew up with a Massey like that except I think it had a 10 horse Tecumseh. That looks pretty stout.... |
