Curious what a 'good' deal is on an old Massey. I see them more often than Allis' around here...not quite as often as a Simplicity. If I were to see a good looking and running Simp with deck, dozer and hydrolift for $380, it would be in my garage.

Thoughts on this MF14?

Yeah, I couldn't move fast enough. Of all things, I've been too busy selling. Of course now I have cash in hand, and nothin to turn around and drop it on =] The tractor fund is cyclical, and right now, it's pretty flush.

I'm betting both are correct.

I notice the CL ad is down....

Is that Oh boy like in "I'm going to buy it"?
or Oh boy like in "How do I explain this to the wife"?

That my friend is a good deal! VERY stout driveline!

It would be in my garage right next to the Simplicity. You should be able to double your money without much effort.

Looks like solid iron to me. I grew up with a Massey like that except I think it had a 10 horse Tecumseh. That looks pretty stout....
