i used those still in service around 1989 mowing at the state park
they were fun... National Triplex

I will say that when going down hill just to get back to the shop
it was fun to take em outta gear.... only thing is that the brake
really didnt work... weeeeee... lotsa fun till the boss sees you
flying down hill

Nationals were used a lot on golf courses and are great machines. Would have been more attractive with some tin work on them though.
