Posted - 10/24/2010 : 20:01:44 I found out why the PO parted with the tiller after two hours trying to figure out how to get the belts and pulley on, I referred to the manual, the belts that were on it were just under 35 inches, the manual called for 37 inches, everything went smoothly after that, until an electrical problem forced me to check the wiring for a loose or unwanted ground. I really like the hydro lift and the latch back for the cover

Posted - 10/24/2010 : 21:18:20 44 inch wide tiller 48 inch wheel base, it may be the biggest tractor I have, even bigger than the Massey 1650, as big as the Bolens QT20. I'm thinking of buying another one with a 20 hp kohler twin power steering and snow blower, which I will sell. No other tractor has 3 shaft drive PTO's and 3 hydraulic lifts, front, mid, and center. If they could cut the lawn like the AC, It would be the only tractor I'd own. That's a big fat fib, coming from a guy with 20 tractors. BTW, they made this tractor from 1972 through the mid 1990's with almost no changes except larger engines and power steering. |
