Nope that's not how you tell, they were sequentially numbered from the fist original cub cat #412 or something like that, every cub that rolled off the line got the next number whether it was a 106, 107, 123, 126. The first 4 numbers are the model number, followed by a "U" then the serial number. The list of numbers to years is on the Cub Cadet registry site. I can tell you what year it is with the number. Funny thing is, I think your pretty close on the year. |
