I picked up the mower deck for the Bolens.It is diamond plate/bullet proof and the arbors are free,it had its own motor.It is 4.5ft.

It don't look like you could hurt that deck no matter what you used it for!

I just got to thinking, the 6' bush hog we pull behind the MF 65 isn't built nearly that heavy. The gearbox & pto are built heavy enough but the rest is what I would call too light gauge of steel when it comes to heavy duty hoggin! Of course it is old enough that the rust mites have lightened it up some. Maybe time to redeck it with some diamond plate.
