The Wisconsin engine is running again...no smoke now though. Carb needs tweaking, but first need to use timing light to get timing spot-on. Been slow last few days due to a severe case of pinkeye following an eye injury. Engine runs pretty good now even if I don't!
Yep, looks like a bomb went off in there for sure. In this hot weather I've got in, done work & made messes, then get out & cool in the house. Do that several times & you have the "bombed out" look. But you're right...everything I need is in there somewhere! lol
I've moved into the 21'st century in my shop. My Son found a 3 spd. ceiling fan in a junk pile and I installed it in the shop. Between that and the ceiling vents it's almost livable in there in the summer.

Time for an update. Been getting a bit done on it, and weather has cooled, so I'm out blasting more components today. Got the rolling chassis & engine/clutch all bolted down. Pics in sequence.
I love the stamp on the side of the Deestone lugs, "Floata-Tire". Did it loose something in the translation? Kinda like phrases in a Chineese video game translated as "all your base are belong to us" and "someone set us up the bomb"
